    Wow!!

Up to 85 points on this SLOG of a program. Thought I’d give the Showdown a go.

    Wow!!

First showdown, mccutcheon hit a homer off robin roberts. First batter, second pitch. Very straightforward.

Next was 95 Don Sutton. Down 1 with 12 outs to go.

I literally did not get a guy past first base! Had a lineup of 97-99 in the first 6 slots. Had one guy single, he was picked off by the CPU.

This program and this Showdown is what gives SDS a bad name for this years game. Give us multiple ways to finish the program and make the dang Showdown doable. It ain’t that hard.

Guess I’ll have to play mindless vs CPU games to get that final 15 points. 😤

I’ll keep going. In that program, the five moments involving Clemente are the 5 hardest in the list. In a program honoring him, why would you do that?

Come on...12 outs and you can't string together 2 runs so you blame the game? That's some weak sauce my guy.

I hate this Showdown. I got to the 2nd-to-last one against Berrios and literally every time I stung the ball, it was right at a fielder or died on the warning track. Got nothing off of him. It was so frustrating. My normal MO in showdowns is to skip the 2nd-to-last one and go to the last one, but when I tried that... 11 runs proved to be too much to get off Carrasco. Same deal as with Berrios, every time I made good or solid contact it was right at a fielder. I think I came within 4 runs. So I've gone almost the distance twice with two different strategies and lost both. It's so annoying. And it seems like virtually every one of the Season 4 programs seems to require you to do the Showdown to get the full points. Ugh. Hate it.
