Sosa stole home!

Sorry that I'm excited about this, but I think in all my years of playing, this is the first time I've had a player steal home. Sure, I've had done a few suicide squeezes here and there, but a flat-out steal to home? Yeah, it happened.

Here's what happened:

It was the top of the second, and I was up 3-0 against the Rockies in a conquest game.

I had Chipper on 2B and Sosa on 3B with nobody out. I wanted to keep the score within three so I could get the save with Rollie (Pennant Chase Mission). So, I bunted with Brock and held the runners.

One out.

Then O'Neil bunted, two outs.

I decided to get the third out by stealing home, but the catcher dropped the pitch, and Sosa was safe. I couldn't believe it.

In the bottom of the second, I left Wacha in with no energy and threw a ball right down the middle to Bryant who sent it over the wall. But I left him in too long (thinking he would just finish the second) and they scored another run too, so I put in Iglesias for the stop.

I know - you don't believe me...so here:

I was going to record it through Replay after the game, but I forgot. Darn!

Awesome! Now you got me wanting to try it just because…lol. Think I’ll use Elly for this.
