Degrom is garbage. Especially since we all just spent 4 weeks facing the make believe superhero John donaldson card every game.

Welp, Degrom was dominant in 2021 because everything was a dot, since PPP has gotten “worse” he is very hittable now. I agree with the sinker stuff, that goes to show they know what the meta is and still don’t try to fix how it jumps up off the hand. Makes zero sense

I don't understand why everyone is complaining about deGrom having a sinker. It is his Cy Young card. When he won his first in 2018 he was throwing the sinker 10% of the time. Hasn't thrown it since more than 1% per season but still threw it when he won, which is what the card is based on.

Either way, the card must not be very good as its price has dropped rather quickly.

According to Baseball Savant, he threw the Sinker 9.2% which was only slightly higher than his CB frequency at 7.9%. Regardless, point taken.
