Conquest Extreme - what if no Braves stronghold?

So I was progressing nicely but looks like Oakland took over the Brave's stronghold.
So am I screwed and have to start over? The 2nd goal was to take over the Braves stronghold by the 3rd turn. I just started my 2nd turn.

No, you keep playing. These goals for strongholds are always the teams' original strongholds.
Let's say that ATL had taken over OAK's stronghold...you wouldn't meet the goal if you had beat ATL stronghold which was originally OAK's. Just remember, it is always the teams' starting strongholds.

Had another question - once you get past the Braves stronghold in 2 turns, can you stock up on reinforce points and there is no turn limitation? or is there a certain amount of turns you can't get to to complete the conquest?

You have to complete the map on or before your 6th turn

What was the extreme conquest trick to avoid at the end? someone posted it but I seem to have lost the thread.
I'm in the final strech now having to beat the AL East teams. Just started my 3rd turn.
So if I beat them all, there is a last TB non-stronghold block at the end and it has 44 points.
I can't sim that right? I have to play that and beat it? And if I beat it with say 20 coins vs 44, do I win the whole thing or I only take like 20 coins from the final block?

Don't sim the final territory. You are gambling big time and chances are you are going to lose and have to restart.

Don't sim the final territory. You are gambling big time and chances are you are going to lose and have to restart.
Gambling is fun though. I simmed it and lost turn 5 and then me being super stubborn on turn 6 simmed again 17 against 2 and thankfully won the sim to avoid a game on rookie lolol

I guess if you have the extra turn it is a bit less of a gamble as you get a second chance! I'm glad it worked out for you. -

I guess if you have the extra turn it is a bit less of a gamble as you get a second chance! I'm glad it worked out for you.Yeah I'm not sure why I did it but I'm glad it worked out too. I got the Griffey today. Looking forward to playing with him tomorrow after work.
