LMAOO!! Canโt believe Ramone russell put him self as a pitcher on the in ALL-Star week Tasks
Really? I am not playing this year's game, but a self-insert is the sure sign of a massive ego, which after his "working as intended" slap in the face of his customers last year doesn't surprise me either.
It's not actually... cause if that's the case... unless they changed it... all of the developers are usually in the game in the minor leagues but they aren't very highly rated from my recollection of crossing paths with/against the likes of Ramone, Nick, etc while playing Road To The Show.
Haha which game was it where Eric Kiss would come to bat and all you could see was the tops of his shoes because he was such a giant? All you had to do was swing and it would leave the screen instantaneously and with extreme alacrity
Triple play 2. There were about 4-5 players. One guy was about 2 feet tall, but faster than quicksilver and played short. He literally took every chance on the left side of the field, and any ground ball that got past a defender was an automatic double when he was at bat.

Haha I had forgotten about that guy! I think that game is why to this very day when I watch a ballgame and the announcer says โup and inโ that my internal monologue always completes the sentence with โchin musicโ

Yes, the only game I never muted the announce team on. "And the 4th inning is brought to you by lobster cola"

Those teams were hidden, and called the Triple Play All-Stars! I remember. I even remember that space stadium. I think it was '99.
Here's one from TP 2000. Not the same team, but you get the idea. 35 mins, but you get the cool game intro.
https://youtu.be/m-tziSjOYsU
TP '99 has the best intro of any baseball videogame, ever.
The '99 intro. I still get emotional watching this ish!!! Gonna run through a wall!

The space stadium
The Roman coliseum
The beach
The cornfieldWhat I remember being the noteworthy effects of each park were:
Space, balls bounced insanely high, and balls carried forever. I always scored 30 runs or more a game there
Coliseum insanely far away center field, but you could get lots of inside the park homers. Similar to hitting one in the gap at the polo grounds
Beach ground balls instantly died and fly balls that were not caught got stuck in the sand where the landed.
Cornfield was no effects, but just very cartoonishly set up. -

In 2000, they had The Living Room (Free the Seagull!!), the Construction site, and a couple of other good ones.
At Coors you could hit 600 foot homers in HRD, lol. -
