Mini Seasons Glitched - Found a Fix
-
You can't put in any of the TA3 cards and when it does let you, you can only use a wild card on 1 of them. I am currently working on the NL Central and I try to put Reds catcher Tyler Stephenson as catcher I have to make it a wild card, then when i try to put in Cubs Nico Horner at 2B, it makes me use wild card again and takes out Tyler at Catcher.
Update - Had to do a new season restart and then it fixed it.

This was happening to me to but I eventually figured out a work around. Unfortunately I was about six into a twelve pack and I don't remember what I did. Try closing your eyes and mashing your controller like a blind rhino.

Oh I think I might have set the team up in my manager line ups and then started a new mini-season. The players all transferred over as. Prior to that I kept putting in a rightfielder and it would remove my catcher.

I’ve seen some people suggest creating a new roster for s3 and then letting cpu arrange the best lineup and then sub from there. Thought I’d try to give ya something at least to try until someone who knows better responds to tou

What are you suggesting?

Its because the lineup was created before set 3 started, which makes it a set 2 lineup. set 3 is not eligible for set 2 that's why it makes set 3 cards a wildcard.
starting a new season,it would be a set 3 lineup and there shouldn't be any problems. -
All you have to do, at any point in your season, is go to the manage lineup screen, and have the CPU generate your lineup and then edit it from there and it will be eligible.
