Event Games Are Ridiculous

The thing I don't like about events now is you'll go on a run where it's soo easy. Then you'll get 20 games in a row against world series try hards. The matchmaking is super inconsistent

I find in Ranked that I win roughly 40 - 50% of my games. In Events it is 20 - 33%. Seems almost everyone I play is a guru at hitting and usually pitching as well.
I do Events after I have all Conquests, Ranked and Battle Royale done, and only if it helps me in the latest programs. I usually try to get to 5 wins, if possible.
I wish good luck for all of you that you match up with me in Events. I'm just trying to get PXP for the latest program.

Do u pitch pinpoint or meter

Events are just harder now with a huge reward for 12 wins and huge amount of stubs from that card versus previously when events got you like 30-40k tops. Gonna be a lot more goon teams going for that 12 game reward.

I really hate this new addition, I used to play events casually when I did not have the desire to sweat it in Ranked, now itās just sweaty games back to back, especially after you go 6-0

Agree with everyone -- spot on insights. I loathe events and almost get PTSD when I enter it. The minute I'm down by a couple of runs, I just quit. There's no point wasting my time trying to finish it. It's really not very fun at all. I used to try and get all the new cards, but now I do what some of the posters here said -- just try and get the Flashback and maybe one more. If I try to get to 10 wins, it's usually two-three nights if I'm lucky. Beyond that is just a waste of time. I'd rather play almost any of the other games, online or against the CPU than Events.

Honestly the second I go down 1-0 I quit, unless I've already seen the other guy pitch and feel I can score 2 runs with a fairly high certainty (which is rare)
Yes Ive quit games where I would have won. But it still saves a LOT of time.
On the reverse side, I went for Escobar/Dumper and only twice did I have a lead and end up losing in 25 wins -
The 12 win streak reward is great for the top 5% of players, but kinda ruined Events for the rest of us

Iām so annoyed, whenever I play ranked I am always the road team and I hate it, now in this event I am always the home team against guys with 5x flawless, WS icons and Top 50 icons. Give me a break SDS
