There is absolutely no way they aren’t aware of how frustrated the community is with the content this year. The fact that you have numerous content creators, who literally get paid to play this game, complaining about being burnt out and grinding like crazy for dogsh*t tells it all. MLBTS Twitter is a dumpster fire right now.

Some of the cards they release are great, but they make them very, very difficult to obtain. Almost impossible for the casual. Things have to change in set 3 no???

I know it’s still early, but they are going to lose a lot of peeps playing this game if it keeps up.

This isn't a bug, it's a feature. They very much want to be the new EA.

They probably will a little later in the year when they feel like they’ve made enough profit for the year.

Or they don’t and use it as a pitch to sell next years game. Next year their selling point will be that there’s higher overall cards in programs. Then everyone will be back on the bandwagon defending them, until they realize they’re going to get their money one way or another.

It defending them. The model is very clearly-

    Programs top out at 97-

    Packs are 99.

That’s why I flip. They aren’t getting any more of my money but all the collections are complete. But not everyone is a flipper and they shouldn’t have to be. I just have a boring job that allows me time to play on the app
