Pretty sure it’s just the count and not the stamina that’s reset so that’s not really a big deal to most players. This has been an issue as far back as I can recall. However, I believe the confidence ratings get reset (at least I know they did several years ago), which affects the performance of the pitcher when you load back in which I would argue is even worse than the pitch count value resetting.
