I've managed to get my friends list to show using a couple methods. Everyone shows as offline, but it shows up and I can send/receive invites.
1 - Restore Licenses in PS5 settings
2 - Disconnecting/Reconnecting from the Internet in the PS5 settings while in gameThey don't always work on first try, but after trying them both (mostly number 2) repeatedly the friends list shows up.
I tried this repeatedly and couldn't get my friend list to pop up
Just add them from the game base
When you’re in coop ranked- press the PS button on your controller and icons appear @ the bottom of the screen
Go to the game base icon then select the “invite” option and you can invite friends to co-op or a 1v1 friendlies

This doesn't work if they are crossplay

But if they were on another console how would they be on your friends list in the first place?

You can add friends on other consoles through the friends list in game. Thats why this is really bad for us who play with friends through crossplay. Our only way to play is the in game friends list.

Yeah ever since the last update this has been happening a lot, don’t know why SDS is on their EA kind of bs right now.
