Game has gone straight flat

Event rewards were cards that weren’t as good as BR rewards or WS rewards in 19 and 20. Since then they have completely fallen off and this year they are straight trash. The best cards are in packs or online which is zero fun going on 3 years due to bad gameplay, bad servers and a horrible game engine

The content flat just the same thing every month and somehow I fall for it purely because there's only 1 MLB game on the market. This content has been overwhelmingly boring. They gas these games up about being all new but I see the same exact stuff happening. mind you they still haven't patched freeze offs or other glitches that should've been fixed years ago and their support team for any issue is garbage.
Most days I actually wonder to myself if im only playing this game because i love baseball and there is no other option. Im not saying i hate the game, its visually amazing. I just wish there was another legit sim option. Competition makes every try harder, see madden ending 2k in ‘06.

Video games should not be frustrating 70% of the time. I think I need to play something different to actually have fun. Thanks for this because I think I need to take a long break.

Never said it doesn't play well. Said the content is lacking which therefore the lack of content has made the game go flat. Its straight team affinity and monthly nothing new. Yes the game play is 100% better but content wise its straight garbage and boring offline grinding mainly
I cant even use the cards I want to to grind TA. On top of that when I do get rewards they just sit there because all time is wasted playing mini seasons with cards I hate. Grind 97 is straight buns IMO.

Nah this wasn't the down year, Last year for me I despised playing the game. It was just pure very late and very early hits. This year is better but just straight garbage content just rinse cycle and repeat. Then when you have an issue with the game they give you the finger and don't respond to you or leave you hanging so hopefully I pray another company drops an MLB game because im running to them with no hesitation
Yeah, but the timing windows are bad now and don't make sense. You hit a ball to the opposite field on an away pitch and you're late? Huh? Or early? Like that's how you're supposed to hit the ball

Nah this wasn't the down year, Last year for me I despised playing the game. It was just pure very late and very early hits. yet they always claim to fix the hitting engine. Pinpoint doesn't even work half the time. the whole game entirely needs to get revamped in some way.

and when you do grind they give you 3 packs with nothing but commons and 1,000 stubs for 3 hours of work.

that and every sports game is on the decline. 2k, madden the only sports game I can genuinely play and have fun with friends is NHL. MLB's co op is broken, ranked is almost unplayable with how sweaty the games get. I get so bored of having to see the same pitches over and over again in sinkers and cutters. Game has gotten unenjoyable. Events is worthless, BR is horrid for me too but I went 12-0 and didn't even get my flawless rewards which I sent a ticket a week ago still haven't heard anything. Game overall makes me question why I even load it up. The packs are straight garbage just a money hungry company drying out every last penny they can with the same content different card art.
