Dashboarding: Why is it still a thing?

I thought warnings and suspensions were being issued to those who dashboard out of games, most often while a homer is mid-flight… is this being enforced? I’ve had a ton of games dashboarded on me. I thought SDS was cracking down hard on this?

Only for Ranked Co-Op games. BR, Events, and regular Ranked don't have penalties.
They need to figure out how to 'fix' them before implementing them into those modes.
It's bad enough when people playing Co-Op get penalized from quitting a freeze-off.

The only dashboard quits that result in punishment are for Co-op, which unfortunately gets done most often to quit freeze offs.
There is the sweet poetic justice every so often when your opponent fails the dashboard attempt and that baby lands

Whining about an early win. Why is this still a thing?

Not completely disagreeing, because free wins are usually good, but innings played and homers with certain players are both important stats for program progress. Sometimes the player values program progress more than the win itself.

You've been around long enough to know better. An early win is great, but with how common this occurs, people who primarily play online lose out on a ton of PXP. That's kind of a problem when you're grinding out team affinity which relies on it so heavily.
I'm fine with getting that stuff done offline, and then rolling with the punches online. Other people may want to knock out missions while grinding the ranked program or events, and given how much of an emphasis SDS has made on playing anywhere and earning progress, you can't blame people for actually wanting to do that.
Obviously the temporary time outs currently in coop aren't a solution either with the number of freeze offs. Unless SDS can find a way to make the obvious no doubt homerun count when there is a disconnect, expect to see more of these threads. If you think you're going to stop them by whining about whining, then I hope you're wearing a rain jacket because you're pissin' into the wind my friend.

I agree finish the play and quit. It’s laughable at this point. I had one guy got 3 hits to start the game including a 3run bomb. I scored 2 in the 2nd in the 3rd got runners on 2nd and 3rd 1 out he dash boarded as soon as the next ball left my bat.

I agree about the free win part, but I was dashboarded twice that cost me for a program last week. I am a weak hitter, so that really hurt for me. If they would just set it up so you still get the HR and the other guy still quits I would be completely content.

How are freeze offs still a thing and the insane amount of pausing in this game that could be easily streamlined via the quick menu no causing the game to pause.
-
And don't get me started on these candy land created stadiums....
-
I’d rather someone dashboard then play a 9 inning outlier lag fest in a terrible major league or created stadium.

I’ve always wondered why the quick menu pauses the game? It makes no sense, I can easily go to the pen and warm someone up without missing a pitch.
