Whoever the brainchild was behind removing player names from cards really screwed the pooch.
Try searching a player with an incognito card by name, doesn’t come up. Use the “nickname” (provided you remember it) the in appears in search.
This was a stupid poorly executed idea.
If they had any pride they’d push a hot fix/rollback.This. It's even like that in the game. Just searched for Brandon Belt and his Gold FB and LS were the only two that populated.
Simple solution....go to your inventory, scroll over to the Giants, press L2/R2 to go to the flashbacks, highlight the card you want, press X to view in market.

I don't want a workaround. I want the whole idea of nickname cards to go away. They should not be showing the nickname anywhere except on the front of the card.

Its not a "workaround". Its quite literally how you're supposed to search for cards.

If you want to buy Mike Trout, can you just type Trout into the search bar, or do you have to type in "Big Fishy Fish Mike"?
You can type "Trout". There is no reason for us to not be able to use a players real name in the search bar like we can for every other card in the game. They could have both names redirect to the card, and if they aren't able to make that happen based on how they coded the app, then clearly they didn't think things through enough (shocker).
What you described is absolutely a workaround.

Agreed. I search by player name and have always since 21. What they’ve done is not a good user interface. It’s lazy on their part not to associate an alias. It also shows they clearly didn’t think this nickname BS through.

I'm so relieved that everyone hates this as much as I do.

As am I. This has been the worst content ive seen since i started in 2018. This is what happens when they put children on the content team. Just garbage. The card design is whatever, i can deal with it. And leave the stupid nicknames on the card, fine. but jesus... please change them to their real name in game.
And by worst content, I just mean the same as everyone else. Stupid alien [censored] in the outfield and the incognito series as a whole. Very childish and underwhelming.

Or you can just click on that little thing that says "filter", scroll down to "series" and go to Incognito.
Shouldn't be too hard for anyone with a double digit IQ or higher.

Or they did and the majority of this community just doesn't understand what the word "incognito" means.

There are already over 40 Incognito cards on the market with more to come. Yes, you can find cards with filters. It's not as fast and it is a workaround. If you can't see that using a standard search is faster, then maybe you shouldn't be making comments about IQ. You're clearly just being obnoxious, so I'm done.

Man, didn’t realize this was such a polarizing topic. Some of the nicknames are ridiculous but if this is the big concern, we’re doing ok fellas.

Oh my bad....i didnt realize that using a filter takes you hours to search for a single card. Maybe assuming you had a double digit IQ was giving you too much credit.
