This doesn't make sense. Play vs CPU versus Conquest
-
One 9 inning Play vs CPU game vs Three 3 inning Conquest games.
Same teams. Same SPs. Same stadium.
One 9 inning Play vs CPU: Average 25-27 pts per game. SP stats: 9 Inning pitched 20Ks 0.00 ERA. About 2,0000-2500 total PXP earned between hitters and pitchers.
Three 3 inning Conquest Games. 3-4 runs scored. SP stats: 6 IP 0 Ks. RP stats: 3 IP 0 Ks 3 Saves. Total PXP earned between hitters and pitchers. 500-750.
So even though I played a total of 9 innings in Conquest; it would've been more productive to play a 9 inning Play vs CPU game.
Starting to think the difficulty sliders in Conquest aren't the same settings as Play vs CPU.

I don't know if this covers the whole difference, but with pitchers you have the ability to also get complete game shutout pxp in a 9 inning game.

Yeah. I know you'll get more PXP by using a pitcher in a 9 inning Play vs CPU game versus playing three Conquest games.
My main point, which wasn't that clear, is how can I put up 20+ runs on 20+ hits in a 9 inning game; but when I play Conquest I'm only averaging 2 runs a game.
It seems better to get the PXP towards a program via a 9 innings Play vs CPU game and just use Conquest after you get their PXP.
-
Or score more in the Conquest games. I put my guys at the top of the lineup and try to get them 3 AB's every conquest game. 2 for sure. Thats equal to 6-9 AB in 1 vs CPU game. Plus conquest I am getting stuff done, where as play vs CPU is just wasted time for me. Even if all my Conquest maps are done I still can do the repeatable ones for packs.

I’ve blasted the cpu on conquest tbe same way I blast it playing a 9 inning game. I don’t think it’s sliders, I think it’s human error. Also, you get more PXP with your pitchers in a full 9 inning game for lots of reasons that are pretty right in your face or on the card! No hate meant in this post, I just don’t see the issue, and I play this game way more than I should
-
I also refuse to believe you didn’t strike the CPU out at all in any of the 3 conquest games…. Like huh?

When playing a non-diamond dynasty exhibition game, the "game style" setting (casual / simulation / competitive) is tied to what you select in settings and if you play enough games you will see the difference in gameplay outcomes.
On casual, you will get more dingers and easier K's.
On simulation, you will get more real life outcomes, a bit more influenced by real world numbers, ie- increased RNG.
On competitive, the results are tied strictly to controller input and is generally more predictable. When you play a diamond dynasty mode, the game play style is set, and is not influenced by your selection in the settings screen.
Diamond dynasty play vs cpu = casual.
Diamond dynasty online (BR / WS / Events) and mini-seasons = competitive.
DD Conquest = simulation. -

DD Conquest = simulation.I think you're wrong:
Casual/simulation affects RTTS and Franchise; anything under the DD umbrella is set to competitive, including play vs CPU and Conquest.
