There's a severe lack of good SPs on the Rockies. Marquez being gold, has terrible bb/9 and control. Everything else is bronze and black. Trying to do the Affinity programs for West 1 and 2 has been a chore. I have one of each teams SPs and all diamond cards. Unfortunately they have zero for the Rockies. There has to be some players past and future that diserve a diamond.

    Come on SDS.

I don't think it is SDS' fault. this is the Rockies you are talking about.

Do you expect SDS to juice Colorado's LS cards just because you can't finish the TA program?

Why not just do some other team's PXP mission repeatedly instead of using the Rockies? How about the Dodgers? Padres? That, to me, would seem to be the more logical way of getting TA done.

You could always use rockies Captain card Daniel Bard, yes he's a closer but if you use him for xp in a 9 inning game against the cpu who really cares about stamina

Would be nice to see a Rockies Mike Hampton, Ubaldo Jimenez, Jeff Francis, Darly Kyle or Brian Fuentes card though

Kyle Freeland has 68 speed, which means you can use him as a pinch runner in some instances.

While the 82 Marquez isn’t ideal , you can certainly miss bats and get outs with it on rookie vs the cpu. Run him out for 5 innings and follow up with Bard.

I agree but it’s a problem every year. I wish they would go a little deeper and get guys like Jeff Francis, a good FB Freeland, Ubaldo Jimenez, Jorge De La Rosa. Even a better Tyler Anderson would be cool. But I won’t hold my breath. I’m just happy there’s at least a good Jon Gray and Oswalt now for the TT even though they aren’t actually Rockies cards.

I am doing that I have 5 starting pitchers on rotation. Plus different teams represented in the batting order and field. Also relievers and bench.

I've been starting with Bard for 5 innings. He has better control but less stamina. Marquez goes through stretches where nothing I throw hits the zone for strikes forcing me to takes chances. Sometimes his control is so bad he throws a pitch down the middle even though I'm targeting the corners. Or he walks them. CPU on rookie seems to take more pitches since update and hit slightly better on poorly located pitches. Also it depends on the team I face.

Recently I tried veteran. First inning, no walks and 2 hits. Vs rookie, 3 hits 2 walks, 4 runs.

He has one or two innings where everything goes everywhere except where I want it. WORST starter I've used in a long time. I've had better success with bronze relievers.

As far as past Diamond Rockies pitchers, there have been some great ones.

I'd rather start Bard then. Better pitcher imo
