Less than Meh

I've played this game for 10-15 seasons. Took a year off last year because I wanted to see if anything would change during a prolonged sabbatical. Uh-uh.
Anyway, one thing I suppose I always had some interest in was the rare Diamonds I would pull early in the season. Always cool to see ratings and how much I could sell a card for if I chose. Perhaps one of the highlights for me personally. disclaimer..I've never played this game in all those years past July just because the ceiling craters and everyone is loaded with crazy high cards.
But, again, for the first couple-three months it was pretty cool getting the occasional diamond...really trucking awesome to see anything above 95. Just didn't hardly happen.
This year after about every 3 games of online play I get popup that I have a new Choice pack or whatever. Eventually I'll go check the "prize" out. And, WOW, it's another choice of 9 different 97 diamonds. I've already got 8 of them so it's just a go-through-the-motions reaction to grab the one card I don't already have..for no other reason than I don't already have it. And, every card is pretty much maxed out in pretty much every area.
I know, I prob fire off more complaint posts than most out here. But, I just get so sick of the same oh, same oh. I took a year off because I was letting the slot-machine pull gameplay get me irritated. Just random wins/losses. Thought, possibly, that might have been addressed. Of course not. But, they actually added something that made it worse.....perpetual "everyone gets a trophy (diamond)".
I swear, I believe the reason, maybe, they went this route is they figure if customers are getting upset because of the predetermined game outcomes..they'll follow up with a tsunami of diamonds and that will make it all better.

Meanwhile, I'm going to keep my crusade going in hopes others will jump on board and maybe, JUST MAYBE, it will get the attention of someone inside that matters and they'll never-ever make this same mistake again. Maybe even overhaul this decades old systemic parity-based approach to gameplay that constantly goes off the rails with ridiculous animation that makes absolutely no sense but assures one or the other player gets a win/loss..depending on whether it's their turn or not.

Yep, its odd --- TONS of low to mid 90s diamonds this year, very early in the season and very easy to obtain.
Everyone has al All Star Team.
I'm not sure what the point of that is --- kinda lame, actually.

That's all you got? By not talking about my actual comment, it speaks volumes that I'm right. BTW Yes they deserve last place RN, they are pretty bad and their rotation stinks. Other people criticizing the Cardinals doesn't even bother me, because whoever they are they aren't as big a critic as me about the Redbirds.

Events are for team builds, BR is for trying out players, and ranked seasons is god squad or If you are bored and want a challenge put in a build..

Well, amigo, I'm a Cubs fan and got a whole lot of enjoyment seeing Montgomery get thumped tonight and the Cardinals continuing their spiral into the abyss. Much more relevant and worth commenting about than arguing with you about delusions and support and whatever else you said.
Ya gotta a good reply to my Cardinals thing? Prob not a good one, but just try anything to see if it will fly.

I did reply to your Cardinal thing already, but why would I continue to reply if you won't address anything I say? I'm not here for your amusement and if you want to duck statements, you are free to do that.
