So I know Ranked has been changed a lot since the program has been put in and making World Series hasn’t mattered as much because of rewards. I know why it was done, because for non World Series players like myself , when 99 Chipper, Mays, Ruth or Goose came out they’d be million stub orders and you’d have to wait until the next game came out to get them. The BR program seems to be a hit, but the ranked seems to have actually done the opposite, made it so the rewards And playing not as fruitful as it once was.

So I was thinking about a way that could fix this, and I know it can’t be implemented in this years game, but I think in the future this will work.

First , the ranked program can stay how it is. The only difference is make the 900 World Series reward unsellable in the path ( this has been talked about a lot).

The next thing, is make World Series it’s own thing. So once you hit 900 you qualify for World Series. It’s it’s own mode on Legend and it has the best rewards in the game. So ranked only goes to 900 now and you never have to play on legend if you don’t want, but if you like competition and rewards, there is World Series mode.

How I would do World Series is make it win based. You get rewards for every 5-10 wins like events, ultimately leading into a sellable pack with Core 99s.

These core 99s will be exclusive to World Series, they are sellable, and they are the best cards in the game. Now what allows SDS to do this is their new sets and seasons model. So for instance, say the pack has a 99 Chipper, Randy and Trea Turner. These cards being core and slightly better than their other 99s they’ll hold their value. however, for regular players like me, there are other 99 versions of these players I can use, that is I’m an offline grinder or low level player, I still I have 99 of my
Favorite player that can use all year, especially with the wild card slot. That allows that million stub, waiting order issue to go away, because you are getting to use a 99.

The last thing because it’s the best or the best mode, in order to get the pack you need to be able to about 60% of you games. So just got numbers ( and easy math) say the pack is at 60 wins (night be high, but just for math) You need to be able go 60-40 to get it, once you lose the 41st game you’re out. So you introduce loss penalties so people done quit out (also having 60% wins can help account for freeze off and disconnects).

But think it would be great, I know SDS can figure something similar to what in saying, where World Series becomes it’s own mode, and I think this will help with making Ranked and Online 9 inning games matter again.

You pretty much contradicted yourself in saying that it's great that there will be no more 1M stub cards; then turn around and want a pack of sellable cards, that will eventually cost 1M stubs each, because only a few would be able to earn them.

No, what I said is they can do that because they release other 99 versions of the card, the reasons had to add the path was because they used to release only one 99 of the player.

Yes. I understand that. But if the only way to get that card is by making/winning World Series, or in the market place, then there won't be many in population. Thus someone could easily earn it an turn around and sell it for 1M stubs.

I agree with the reward path being unsellable and the actual earning and winning rewards sellable that way the people who dont have the time or aren't as good can have a shot of the cards while still giving an incentive.

I suggest a ranked season wheel like XP has but with better rewards. After you are done with the program maybe the wheel goes around based on say 50 innings played. However, if you quit or dc you do not get credit for any of those innings.

Ranked just needs better rewards. Having to win 10 legend games for a 1000 coin emblem is laughable. Maybe add 50k stubs to that and we can talk.

It’s an interesting idea. Maybe have a regular season mode for all-star only difficulty. You have to reach 700 in that before qualifying for a playoff mode to reach WS on HoF. I’d love the option to play on all-star some more after reaching WS. The season is over for me once I reach WS because I have no desire to play on legend and really don’t even enjoy HoF as much as AS.

So they changed RS from exclusive players to a program so more people could get them without expensive cost and your plan is to keep it how it but make other exclusive expensive cards?
