Why didn't you add a repeatable XP mission like you did for the Mexico program SDS? You can still try to complete the showdown but also have the option to skip it.
The Charisma showdown has been especially frustrating. I've completed several showdowns this year and this one has been a royal pain.
I can't get to the next charisma player unlock. I've completed all the moments and current player card missions. I'm stuck due to the Charisma Showdown.

- Use Hero Time- stack them
- Before Playing, practice on HoF for like 10-15 mins
- Focus on pitches right over the plate and spit on everything else. The more tired they get, they’ll start pitching center cut softballs.
- Do it in Sections unless you’re smashing the ball. Obviously if you’re seeing the ball really well and your timing is on point, keep going. But if you barely scrape by a level. Do something else, practice on HoF and come back to it.
I am terrible at Showdown but I did this one on my first try though I split it over 3 days I think.
-
I think Showdown would be better if you did not get reset to the beginning every time. They are a chore at best, and a video game should be entertaining.

Stacking hero time does nothing but waste two valuable perk slots the diamond version of hero time encompasses the other two already it doesn’t give you super super super power. You gain nothing from having the silver and bronze versions. Instead have the diamond hero time then diamond vision and finally diamond drag bunt. Diamond vision helps with the foul offs and of course diamond drag bunt makes everybody a good bunter to avoid the double play issues and if they have decent speed it’s an easy hit.

If I NEVER see another “strike out 3 batters” moment it would be way too soon!
Over 5 tries on this Joe Kelly one. I don’t get SDS thinking on these types of Moments. Do they enjoy frustrated customers? They must!!
This and the 2XBH and the 6 total base ones just need to go away. Seriously.

You're gonna love the April Monthly Moments that require 5K's in 6 outs or 2XBH with a man who literally only strikesout or homers.

Oh really? I’ve seen a few places that they stack. When you come up to bay it shows them all as active but I actually thought it sounded odd. I’ll try your suggestions.

The only attribute is the level of power each gives. One is slight, the next is regular power boost, and of course diamond is significant. All of them can be used in any count. In previous years there used to be a power attribute which was stackable because it was based on the count you were in.

Don’t stack hero time. It’s not stackable use the vision and drag bunt perks to help with moving runners over to avoid double plays

I stand corrected on the Hero Time but use the other bullet points. Those are definitely helping me.

Is this a serious post? Read the perk. Silver is slight boost after 7th, gold is increased power boost after 7th, and diamond is significantly increased increased power boost after the 7th. Based on this info how is this stackable bud? How can you get anything more by stacking a perk which encompasses both the silver and gold version in the diamond perk? Common sense. Think twice post once!!!!

The game says all three boosts are active. As an example (using placeholder values), the diamond perk boosts EV by 10%, the gold by 5%, and the silver by 2%, resulting in a total boost with all three active of 17%.
Still waiting for you to provide some evidence to support your claim that only one of three can be active at a time even though the game says otherwise.

Yes definitely make sure you pick three different perks.

They will all still be active when the perk is triggered but they typically activate with the same requirement so your best chance to win is to pick perks that activate under different conditions.
My rule of thumb is to pick different perks and then upgrade the best ones for me and before going into the next stage pick the best three available to me and set my lineup based off the situation in the next stage... for example if its a situation where I have a runner on base I won't use "Lead Off Magic" unless I don't have other perks.
Best perk though is probably "Down But Not Out" (if you are a free swinger that routinely goes to 2 strikes) or "Rally Time".

"They will all be active when the perk is triggered", so all three Hero Time boosts would be active all of the time in an elimination showdown. I would prefer three useful perks that are always active, but I do understand trying to get three different diamond perks active together. I am not arguing that strategy at all. My only question was related to the assertion that the three Hero Time perks don't stack. You seem to agree that they do.

I think it depends on when they activate... I know Down But Not Out Silver activates different from Down But Not Out Gold and Diamond.
