I'm hoping that they eventually offer enough non-sellable cards that could be collected (depending on who are the three players) towards the Set 2 Collection; so I can sell off EVERYTHING that's sellable.

No reason to keep anything, in my opinion, right now.

I'm even sitting on the last week of TN and the POTM Programs until Friday to get an XP boost.

Anyone have a particular game plan in mind?

Only to go after ser 2 hard, nothing holding me back now, set 1 complete, set 1 TA is also done, as is the LS collection, bring on whatever set 2 has too offer.

Yeah gonna be interesting. First Month was all about saving stubs for LS collection. Was even selling bosses and other set 1 cards to get them. Now with that done gonna be locked in on set 2.

I'm not sold on collecting Set cards yet. With possibly only one WC spot available; there may be more than one card I want to use.

Yes, I can possibly use expired Set cards offline in non-set required modes. But until I see what's available; I'm not locking anything in, for now on, unless it's a Core card.

Thus why I sold Charisma Griffey.

Yup, smart flipping and investment of certain players and the help of the 25k wheel in the current program and yes a few lucky pulls, tonight was very helpful because I pulled Arenado and Carew (kept him) but i finished the LS collection at the beginning of the weekend.

I've completed the live series, and have 2 set 1 collections rewards. I'm currently sitting at 400k in stubs, and I'm hoping that certain set 1 cards drop in value with the release of all the shiny new content later this week. I'd love to get a good bargain on cards I'm missing if people pull old orders or panic sell once everything goes live.

Live series was completed for me 2 days after the very first roster update, set 1 has been completed along with everything else for a few weeks now, set 2 will be a breeze for me.

No Money Spent actually, just flipping is always very easy for me every year.

I have a good full time job, so I am definitely not wasting my hard earned money on this game except at launch.

I’m kinda sorta in the same boat. I’m 30ish cards away from getting all 3 set 1 cards. I also have WBC Trout and Sasaki that I don’t have to collect and could sell since their value is high at the moment. Thing is, they are still respectively top cards are their position and would create holes in my god squad

They aren’t going to do that. And it makes sense not to do it tbh. If they gave us enough to complete the collection what would we be using stubs for? However, hopefully the gaps are a little smaller and a little bit better rewards in between the players.

I have LS, TA, and Set 1 completed. Anything I get from the bonus wheel and packs are all being sold in prep for Set 2. I should have a decent amount of stubs when Set 2 drops.

Flipping. It is not as difficult or time consuming when you know what you're doing. I've had no lucky pulls, no money spent, and had LS done by Easter Sunday and got all three set 1 cards and have 1.5 million in stubs. Also have played over 120 RS games and probably 100 event/br games played.

So I have about 206 Set 1 cards. I have Chipper but haven't pulled the trigger to get Pedro or Ruth yet. Do you think I can hold this until Set 2 drops Friday and then claim one of them and get the XP for Season 2 or should I pick one before that? What if you can't chose one once Season 2 starts? Should I pick one now or wait?

I would never bet on what SDS will do, but I think that if they didn't allow you to do this, the outcry from the community would be deafening. They've had enough bad-mouthing this year that I don't think they'll invite any more. But, I could be wrong.

I'm waiting too, though, if that helps any, so you won't be the only one getting shafted.

I can't imagine there would be any reason for Set 1 collections to stop after the next season starts. Especially since the Set 1 cards are still eligible all through Season 2, it would be really odd for them to just shut that collection down when they are still eligible cards.

Its not even close to "pay to win". You really think people are taking those 88-92 overall captains online when there are 97-99 all over the place for free? None of the collection rewards are even that good except maybe Wagner, Sosa, McGwire and Jeter.

Everyones getting the LS completed with flipping and I can't seem to find any margins that last. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place.

I can say that I got lucky on some pulls; but I still need 7 of the 90s LS Diamonds (850K) worth and only have 30K in stubs.

So I doubt I'll get that completed anytime soon
