Why do ranked innings count one less than played?

Title. Thanks

Because you changed pitchers mid inning. Or won at home, or lost on the road.

Bad coding.

Ah ok this actually makes a bunch of sense now cause I noticed only whole innings counted when doing captain missions. Do individual outs count towards pxp?

Strikeouts count towards PXP, but I think outs do not.

Outs do count,it's 13 pxp each out,I did it just after launch. they count for pxp but not missions.

If you are the road team and lose the game or home team and win the game in the top of the 9th you only get credit for 8 full innings... same if game ends in top of an inning due to mercy rule.
