I am so tired of having to play these offline modes to earn 90% of the cards for set 1. There are almost 20 conquest maps, literally playing the CPU over and over. They need to make online more rewarding, I want to create a god squad and play with them in ranked and actually earn rewards not just for playing a certain amount of innings. No way playing 12-13 games if ranked should complete the ranked program, make it more rewarding and add online missions like hitting home runs or tallying bases to help with Team Affinity. I’m tired of mini seasons! Make online modes fun again.

I actually just posted something similar in a different thread. It seems they really made a ton of content for offline players this year, but made it really hard to complete programs for people who want to primarily play online. To me it DD feels like a controlled offline mode if you want to complete programs and collections. I always thought DD was more of an online mode, but more and more it feels like primarily an offline mode.

Every single year they cater more to the offline grinders, I remember back in MLB 17 there was an online pxp program that gave XP for completing missions online. Back then the amount of XP you got determined if you were a diamond lvl 100 on and on which didn’t really do anything but it felt cool knowing you reached max level in xp. Team affinity is such a hard grind trying to strictly play online. There’s only 1 repeatable mission which is to make your team a team build and even that will make it take forever to complete.
