This cooldown is such a joke this is the second time I am getting a penalty due to these trash servers the other players just have to wait you out when game freezes just sat 30 minutes during a freeze finally leave game only to be on a 3 hr cooldown now. I will be quitting this game if things aren’t fixed

While I understand your frustration; to get a 3 hr cool down, when the first time you get one it's only 5 mins, means that you must've quit multiple times.
Now, I can understand if kost of those quits came from leaving a freeze off. But what I can't understand is that if you've encountered that many freeze offs, and it's been well documented on here that happens ALOT, I feel no remorse for you; when you continue to play a mode that is clearly broken.
If you don't want to have to worry about incurring a cool down penalty, even though it's SDS's fault for not coding it to ignore a freeze off quit, then don't ay Co-Op until they rectify the issue.
I had an issue with Mini Seasons, which is also well documented on this forum, but have I kept trying to play that mode?
No, I'm not touch it until there is, if any, a permanent fix.
I will side with you that SDS's lack of communication about these cool down periods being initially because of freeze offs is unwarranted an pretty much pathetic.

Turn off crossplay if you haven’t already, the connections are much better.

Crossplay off helps, also be aware that even if the opponent quits and you get points for the win you can still get a cooldown. Me and my friend were in a freeze off and the game put us back to the menu where it showed we won and gave us +whatever points but we both received a 1 hour cooldown yet never quit and waited.

I have had only 3 times where I was penalized and it’s 3 hrs so I don’t know where you think you’re getting your information from. And I have played over 30 plus games so you’re an idiot.

Its a complete joke. I have incredible internet and constantly get hit with cooldowns for frozen games.
And turning off crossply is garbage being said by people who don't regularly play coop. If you turn crossplay off then you will sit there 10x as long looking for a game and get stuck with world series opponents with a level 200 teammate. Turn crossplay off and the game acts like there are 5 playstion players in North America.

I have crossplay off and played 3 co op games yesterday. No problem finding opponents.

Something's up if you only have three times you were penalized and it's already at three hours. That would be something to send into support. I know people that have had 4-5 dashboards due to freeze offs and they're only up to 1 hr.

While you have to give the game developers credit for responding to many many complaints regarding people quitting games when losing, this seems a typical case of 'unintended consequences'. In other words, the cure is worse than the original affliction and is likely going to have to be revoked to avoid further alienation of users of this product.

They need to make a co op team system. You start or join a co op team then play with the same people to get wins and rank. This would reduce quiting because people would be playing with people they know or get to know.
Playing with random people on a team mode is just asking for problems.
