Please let the first TA showdown be repeatable for x amount of exchange vouchers so those of us who haven’t 100% a division can catch up.
Nerf the amount needed for TA exchanges. 328 cards rated 73 overall for the 25 stub minimum is 8200 stubs. All for a measly 10 TA points. That’s absurd.
Add more missions/conquest modes to each TA halfway through its run. It’s not fun grinding team builds with bad teams like the Royals and Rockies.
Lastly it would be nice if in addiction to team build points we can get division team builds. 2500xp using AL East players for 5 TA points. That worked last time TA was around.
We’re getting 99’s left and right but TA is the most grindy thing in the game right now.

So here is the thing with TA and this format in 21 was that to many people finished it to fast.
SDS likely had data that showed X% of people used showdown and exchanges to progress through the programs. I think they have found a sweet spot for these that just progress as you play. The idea is for the programs to be something that last all season.
I personally have not done one exchange, showdown or mini season and I have most programs 60% or more done just using the conquest, henchmen/captin missions and the team build missions.
-
They just need to increase the TA points you get from exchanges and the player missions imo. Showdown not being repeatable made it so isn't done in a weekend, which is good. I just don't like the idea of forcing mini seasons as the alternative. Keep the exchange requirements the same but increase the TA points to 5,000/7,500/10,000 and the player missions at a flat 5,000 and it's probably alright

This is the way to do it, I only have the Central divisions to do in both leagues and all i've done is load my teams up with henchmen and captain bosses.
Plus i've gotten lucky because mini sessons has not been a issue for me so i've gotten through 3 so far. That helped me finish off the BL West/AL East/ and NL East.

This is all I know. In 2021, TA was a lot of fun...it was probably too quick, but it was fun. I play this game WAY too much, but have not completed a single division this year. I completed the conquests and showdowns and started going through the PXP missions. It felt like the only thing I did with the game was sub in new mission guys. I still have a few captain pitcher missions left, but I finally just had to give it up and let it come when it comes. I am about to complete TA mini seasons, but it still will not be enough to finish off my divisions. This game has just gotten to where the programs seem to be more work than fun.

So mini seasons does work!? I’m 0/3 so far everytime I either make the playoffs or am a game or two away it just shuts down on me.

I hit the issue at 16 games my first mini season but since I have completed 2 full seasons and about to get into the playoffs in my 3rd. I keep restarting my mini season until I get the Lemurs and Lords games very early in the season.

2021 seems so fun to people because it tickeled that instant gratification backseat it mive so quick.
I hated how easy it was felt like it was over way to fast, 2023 has found that middle point of 2020 and 2021

That is fair. I never used the methods to blow through ‘21 in a weekend, but maybe that simplicity is what brought me into DD. But if DD is really contestant PXP missions that never allow people to use the players they want, I may have change the way I approach it.

I'm fine with length to some extent, I just wish they'd stop having player missions. Even the team build missions are outrageous.
And the fact that the best way to do TA is through mini seasons kinda sucks. Give us opportunities beyond pxp missions that people can use in online play as well.
SDS is great at handing out content but they are really bad at forcing us into very specific modes to earn that content.
In the time it takes to earn these cards, I could work the market in 1/4 time and just buy the cards which is probably what I will do for TA2.

2021 was def wayyy too easy. I had the first wave done in a week using showdown vouchers..the second wave, I used mostly exchanges and se showdown vouchers and had it done in less than a week.

That would have worked last year, but this year TA cards have not been on the market. I agree though about it feeling that things are much more geared for offline versus online. I play a lot of BR and want to play more ranked this year, but can’t find the time because pxp missions don’t line up for RS play.

Sorry, I meant the charisma cards they also dropped.

This maybe why I'm not bothered by the set up as I really enjoy the plug and play method of earn a card play with it for a mission to get another card rinse repeat.
I will do this in every mode, RS, Events if applicable, Mini seasos, conquest
I totally understand that's not everyone cup of team so I do agree SDS needs to find a middle ground for people to earn progress in a program for example the Mexico series one should also have a repeatable mission for giants and Padres players online that is like 2000 pxp or something
