Did SDS really make attempt to fix Foul Balls?

I only ask because I'm currently in Championship series and I come across guys who get multiple "Very Late" - "Very Early" foul balls. My last two opponents that beat me both did it. The Foul ball ratio was crazy, they would have 25-30 and i get 1-5. It sucks that confidence plays such a big role in the game, because by the time you are in the 4th inning they've given up so many fouls they are VERY likely to give up the homer. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this experience?
