if you are on wifi get off wifi and go hard wire. It can also be your opponent I would turn off cross play and when the game starts if the lineup screen is laggy pick another opponent.

I'm hard wired fiber , LG C2 running 120hz.
I tried turning off cross play I'm going to try it again. Cuz it's unplayable the way it was last night. I wanted to make my control wallpaper.

Also the servers were F’d yesterday all day with server errors could be SDS servers

I was on it (on my XBX) last night from around 7:30-9:00 pacific and it was fine. I played two CPU games.

I'm average have my moments but I can time up a fastball with usually no problem but not last night. See what tonight brings.

The timing in this game is totally predicated on your connection with your opponent. It’s been that way as long as I can remember playing DD. Sometimes late, sometimes early. If you’re playing on a C2 it’s most likely your opponent.

Xbox live services were having issues all evening. Party chat was up and down , friend lists were missing and so on. Additionally the in game servers were balky and weird the night before into the morning. All this spells a recipe for a potential less than ideal experience when matchmaking and playing online with any platform.
