Current Event

Decided to give the current Event a try because I wanted to PXP some players. Not concerned about the rewards as I already have all the cards.
Anyway, is it just me, or is having it at Coors Field make the game real laggy?

It’s your playstation 4, upgrade if you have a chance, the game plays so much better in current gen consoles.

That would cause the lag? I'm not talking about the frame rate issues I mentioned before; I'm talking about having Captain Buxton 'walk' after a ball hit to the wall. It's almost like I have to press the joystick real hard in the direction I want him to go.
He'll start after it real fast and it's almost like he's running in quicksand?
I'll eventually get a PS5; but when I do I'm not sure how much I'll play online as I don't want to have to deal with garbage created stadiums

If you're that concerned about custom stadiums, which really is not a big deal in my opinion, then you could play the PS4 version on a PS5. It may run better than the game on a PS4, especially if you have a base model and not a PS4 Pro.
I haven't specifically tried this with 23, but I can at least confirm that the PS4 version of 20 ran much smoother on my PS5 compared to my launch model PS4.
