Is there anything special at P5? The parallel part says you unlock a Superfractor Parallel. Is that anything special or just a plus 5 to all stats?
I'm levelling up an 87 card r now but there's plenty of others that are already higher obviously and I'm not sure it's worth it. -
Pretty sure it's a plus 5 to all stats. Don't think there is anything more than that

It can be "cool" to have a card up to superfractor. But not worth doing unless you plan to use it in the future. Unless, you know, you want to do it for fun or something

Not much more than the +5 bonus to every Attribute. Which is still not bad.
Unfortunately, this year with all the 97/99's there isn't as much value to it.
I will say this...sometimes the Superfractor along with a Captain bonus can make a legit difference. I've really liked using Dee Strange-Gordon at 2B with Bryce as the All Star Captain plus I have Dee +4...so it actually gives him enough Power to have the ability to hit the ball in the gap with his high Contact and Speed.
So...if you stack some Parallel bonuses with the right Captain bonus, it can make guys effective even at a lower rating.
All Star Trevor Story is another one...with the Bryce bonus, it means he can hit both Rightys and Lefties. So it makes him pretty usable.
What would be NICE is if this ability to boost and stack ratings actually gave you a slight edge or advantage. But with all the overpowered cards...it still puts you at a DISADVANTAGE 98% of the time. Which makes absolutely no sense.
Like I've said before, it feels like they came up with all the Captain stuff...and then decided at the last minute to release all these 97s and 99s so early.
The fact that they are releasing "Home Run Derby" cards and All Star cards tells me that's exactly what happened.

I'm levelling up an 87 card r now but there's plenty of others that are already higher obviously and I'm not sure it's worth it.+5 to all stats and a “bragging right” to say you were 1st if you get to do it, which means a lot of time spent in a mindless and boring grind just to have a 1/1 in your card, which btw is barely visible and nobody pays attention to.
Just play and it will come naturally.

Haha, perfect take -- the "bragging right" if you get an early one. Like it matters.
But I do have low-number p5 Jazz and Murakami and Hoffman and Manoah (my quick delivery vs. cpu #5 pitcher) and can't deny that I like that they're low-number.
