Any word on horrible frame rate on PS4?

Other than the community answer of 'Buy a PS5'; is there any word on why the frame rates are horrendous on a PS4?
Isnt this the same engine as last year? Why all of a sudden is it horrendous on a PS4?
I'm sure most PS4 users would like some insight on this issue. Is it a bug? Does it have something to do with the coding and needs patched like how it has to be patched last year for Kaufman Stadium and FOD Stadium?
It is this another instance of something that the devs won't respond, or give any reply, like how all of a sudden last year an update caused the Player Progress screen to disappear from PS4 Users or how they stopped giving After Game cards, except for Ply vs CPU games, last year?
I'm going to eventually get a PS5. I just can't phantom buying one now just to play one game.

Definitely don’t use anybody with dreadlocks or braids. Pitcher or hitter. That makes the frames spazz big time. Seems racist but that’s how they made the game.

Buy a ps5, because if it’s next gen only next year I wouldn’t be surprised.

I like the buy a PS5 responses; not everyone can afford it or are willing to load up the credit card.
If they stop putting out games for last gen, then you’re s*** out of luck and it happens.
But if they continue putting out games for it, they have to make sure they’re making a quality product and support it.

I am with others -- I would love to have a PS5 but I cannot fit it in my budget atm but IF they are going to release it on the Old gen ( PS4 ) then it better work on it if your going to take our money for it. Also not one word that I know of from SDS so they got the money and are like we shall (maybe ) get to it when we can. It's kind of like how program tracking does not work on PS4 and how they refuse to even try and fix that. I will not lie I loved when it worked and would love to see it work again before HECK freezes over but I guess this is just a dream since SDS does not care about ps4 users.

I’ve made a couple threads about this and to your point, it still hasn’t gotten better. Playing any sort of game/moment at an MLB stadium is essentially unplayable (literally)….and considering grinding moments, conquest and mini games are a HUGE part of DD, it’s really affected my desire to play.
Like dude said before me, if they are still willing to put out a product on the older gen consoles…don’t make it dogsh*t. And if you play 20-30 hours a week??? Yea, time to upgrade. But some of us only log a couple hours tops and like to be smart with our money
