BR the past couple days...

... has been some great fun (win or lose) and have not come across too many toxic players. It is definitely harder to get wins than usual for me, but the game play has been fun. I hope all of you are experiencing more fun games and less toxic games as well.

I'm only dipping my toes in, as I typically wait a few days for the 12-0 goons to go through. I played one today, and it was a good game.

I usually do the same, but I don't want to wait for Griffey! I am very happy to be surprised to not have run into as many toxic players as I usually do when play online. This had helped in my "grind" in getting Jr since there is very small chance I'll go 12-0.

I finally tried it myself yesterday, and found out the difference between CPU and humans! I found out how bad a hitter I am. I'm still decent at pitching, and it carried me to my 2 wins, but I enjoyed it as well. When you get lit up, it's not fun, but I do want that Griffey!

Right now it's harder than usual because you have a lot of BR goons running through for their 12-0 runs. In a week, most of these goons will move on and it will be easier. If you are getting a couple wins right now is pretty good for someone who doesn't play BR and online much!

I really wanted to give this a run but I'm not feeling it. Gotten Chipper and Sosa in the last week and really want to use this team that I've spent the last 4 weeks grinding away.
The games I played tonight were fun tho!

Just keep grinding the program, don’t quit games, and you’ll get Griffey

Without going 12-0, about how many games will it take to get to the 100 points for Griffey? I've never really played BR unless it was just for the Egg Homer I had to hit last week. WIll it take a while even if I lose a lot?

"Getting Griffey" doesn't mean as much to me this year. He's a 99, but so is everyone and their grandmothers. I'm done with the LS and have Chipper, finished ranked program...time to step away for a while.
The changes they made to DD this year are...strange. 99's everywhere, cool. Lots of stuff to do, cool. But it feels like the game is desperately trying to keep you hooked up to the DD heroine needle. Burnout for me is here sooner than usual.

It is a grind that will take some time if you cannot get at least one good run in. It is possible to get to the flawless pack without a single win, but that would take a very long time!

The program has just under a month left, I’d recommend chipping away at it rather than just trying to “grind” it. Focus on the program card missions, knock out the pitchers first, and play out your games

I have to say I enjoy playing Head 2 Head until players start bunting in situations where they shouldn't be and more so when they start bunt dancing which I have had happen to me in the third inning... like why after such a good game do you want to start using these tactics???

BR is definitely way diff than rs lol its like a completely different game. I recommend turning off pci swing feedback so you dont get frustrated when you dont get rewarded. I feel like pci up pitches dont get demolished like the mistake automatic down the middle pitch.

BR does have a good vibe to it this year.
