Co op ranked freeze up

Freeze ups we all love them. I think most would agree they are the only thing keeping co op ranked from being the most addicting game mode in the show. The worst part is not even the random freezes that happen in the 9th inning in a tight ball game(keeping most of us rising the ranks in hopes of getting to the World Series with our closest friends). No the worst thing added this year is the penalty that grows when you close the app after an hour of waiting someone to quit when no one will. I personally have achieved a “quit” penalty of 6 hours and it seems every time I quit it grow twice as much as the last. I really enjoy the game this year but this is one thing that really holds the game back that can’t be ignored. MLB please fixed these issues asap so that I can finally get carried to the World Series ranks.

The cool down timer is really tough to stomach with the freeze offs not yet being addressed.

This really does need to be addressed ASAP
The fact that people are being penalized for quitting a game that is frozen is beyond absurd
If SDS can’t fix freeze offs then they need to remove the “cool down” period

Why are people still playing co-op when freeze offs are rampant? Just stop playing it until they fix it, It’s not rocket science.

Turn off cross-play. Make sure everyone you are playing with has cross-play off. Haven't had a freeze up since.

Because it won't be fixed? Freeze offs have been around as long as DD has. Not to mention coop is a huge selling point for some members of the community, not playing it is not a solution to anything. The cool down should be removed, period.

i turned off cross play and i got frozen just the other day in a ranked co-op game

I don't know then. We just started without cross-play a few days ago and haven't had an issue after literally every game froze following the second update to the game

Well then you can’t complain when the game freezes. I have never played a game of coop because I hate people & would never put myself in a position to rely on them…But I have played a ton of RS, Events & BR and never had a single freeze, Not one. Playing coop & then getting mad when it freezes is like smoking for 50 years and then getting mad when you get cancer.

I have never played a game of coop because I hate people & would never put myself in a position to rely on them…But I have played a ton of RS, Events & BR and never had a single freeze, Not one. Playing coop & then getting mad when it freezes is like smoking for 50 years and then getting mad when you get cancer.
As a two time cancer survivor, I don't know that the two are really comparable haha

I'm not a big coop person myself, I only played enough to get the 15 program points given at 25 innings. That doesn't mean we should give SDS a pass and tell people that actually enjoy the mode that SDS promoted to "not play it." That isn't right.

My biggest gripe is that it's not being addressed. Even if you aren't doing anything about it yet, just say "we are aware and looking into it". But I'm sure there are a few more WBC cards on the way to make up for it...

Sure it is, It’s a perfect example actually….If you smoke for 50 years you have to expect to get cancer…If you play coop in it’s current state then you have to expect a freeze off.
