Jersey Numbers
-
In MLB the show 22 legends were mostly able to have any number the player wanted. But in The Show 23, i cant give some retired numbers to players who should be able to use them. But this only seems to effect certain teams or players. I cannot give Reggie Jackson his number 44 that he wore with the Yankees, but the other Yankees with retired numbers can, including Mariano Rivera. If I place Bruce Sutter on the Cubs, he cannot use his number 42, but with the cardinals he will. On the show 22 you could have legends have the same jersey number on the same team, but this year that is not so. Seeing as the players are legends they should be able to be used with the jersey numbers they had irl, regardless of if they are retired now. With the reds I would like to allow Adam Dunn and Eric Davis to have the number 44.
Please fix these issues!

I have the same issues in Franchise,we never had this before in any other version or year of the game. Why is this happening now? Griffey and Henderson can not be on the same team with the same number like in the past number 24. Or how Rivera can't have 42 unless he's on the Yankees. Please fix this and go back to the way it was. Please.

Please fix this before next update or roster update. I hope SDS reads these!!

Odds are this won’t be fixed. Last year #20 was able to be worn on the Yankees in franchise. I reported it as a bug since it’s been retired since 2012 but it never was fixed.
