When are people getting promoted from AA to AAA and then to the Majors?
-
I made AAA shortly after the AA All star game. I played like maybe 15 games in AAA, then off to the majors.
-
It highly depends on the needs of your team. If you chose to play a position that your team is in desperate need of an upgrade, you can see the bump to AAA just after the AA All Star Game (My first baseman did that in MLB the Show 21). If your team has a Superstar at your position already, it will be a long road.

7/14 for AAA, 8/15 for The Show.
Over the years (since 21) I've noticed that OVR plays a large part in when you get called up, but there are "minimum" dates that have to be met, first. Historically, the All Star Break is about when a player gets called to AAA, and Early-ish August is the earlies for a call to The Show...
For the record - Lockerroom, Player Extras - Stats and Awards - "tab over" to Events and Awards to "see" significant (like First level AB/Appearance) dates to help "nail down" the exact point in which a player is called up.

AAA after the All-star, MLB after about half a season.
Who's in your chosen spot up in the majors (mine is Catcher for the Yankees)? You might not be better than them in stats yet.
-
AA until the all-star game, AAA for a week or so, then to the show. They traded Gleber Torres early in the season so I knew I was going to have an easier path as a 2B with the Yankees organization.

Got called up to AAA 3 games after 2023 AA all star game
Got called up to be Arizona's CF On August 3rd 2023 -
Second Character: Cardinals 2B, Power/Fielding... (Showboat). Was watching screens and just made it through this, so:
Box on 7/13 (last day off of All Star Break. Confirmed on Transactions screen in Clubhouse) called to AAA. First game (represented in the "player record") 7/14.
8/1 to The Show. Transactions and first game played all match. Was around 74-76 OVR when called to AAA, 80 OVR on MLB Callup day.
