I have heard so many complaints about pinpoint watching streams today and most of these complaints are completely unjustified. A perfect pinpoint release is by design supposed to be in the par (perfect accuracy REGION), not the center of par (it is a region after all) as that would make par irrelevant (it might as well just be a dot at that point). Last year pinpoint was overpowered because perfect inputs almost always went to center par and thus made control a meaningless stat for people good with pinpoint. The changes this year (which appear to more equally distribute perfect pitches throughout the par) are a huge improvement in gameplay and eliminated a crutch that many apparently were reliant on.

Please don’t make par irrelevant for pinpoint by making perfects always go to center again, it makes pitching completely unrealistic.

I still say Meter is the most realistic, but what do I know? 🫢

I understand pinpoint perfects aren't going to be dead center of your PAR. However it definitely does like to stick the baseball just on the edge of the PAR a lot.

I mean, statistically it’s more likely to be near the edge than dead center, but results should be equally distributed so if it’s hitting edge of par higher than it “should” then that should be fixed.

I agree. Dudes want the ball in the same spot everytime but:

    1. That is not realistic from a baseball perspective
    2. It takes away the whole concept of PAR

Don't change a thing with pinpoint pitching. Remember how much of a pain it was in MLB 21? Is that what people want again?

They are complaining because they can’t sit there and super dot the corners. I find it hilarious, because it’s always the game not them. It’s grown [censored] men crying.
