Co-Op Freeze/Crash

Ranked Co-op still freezes/crashes while playing this game. Not a big deal because my friend and I enjoy playing games together and if we get to World Series cool, if not, no biggie, however, when we quit and do not wait out the freeze, we get put on a "timeout penalty." This is the 2nd time we quit tonight and now I am on a 10min cooldown penalty before we can play our next game.
Why do you have a cooldown penalty for YOUR GAME BREAKING! This makes zero sense to me.
We are on xbox series X. Is our console the issue or are others having this issue too?

A cool down period for people that dashboard in the middle of a homerun so you don’t get your stats is what it should be
If I’m up 7-0 in the first inning then kinda want my opponent to quit lol- that’s normal. So being penalized for that just doesn’t make sense
There should be a penalty for people that dashboard which prevents you from gaining pxp

Yep it’s so dumb. Have had the game freeze like 5 times and now on a 2 hour cooldown
