First Impressions - DD Offline player

I did not have much hype coming into this game but [censored], they hit it out of the park!
The content is incredible for launch. The best in all the Show DD games I've ever played.
Hitting seems to be weak right now though. But I just started playing so maybe it's because I have bad players on the squad.
Gonna try to figure out all this captain and wild card and sets stuff. Adding this they made it very interesting and added more strategy.

Hitting is good, once you upgrade your roster it should be more noticeable. Also, contact with pitches out of the zone is heavily punished now, this is a good year to be more selective

I think people are going to hate this Set/Wildcard idea once it actually comes into effect. Everyone’s excited for the game and what’s different about it now, understandably so, I just don’t think people realize how much this is going to affect how people play. Why do we need roster restrictions for Ranked? That’s what events/BR/mini seasons are for.
Feels like SDS is just trying cover up their lack of content strategy by handcuffing us instead of just being patient to drop end game cards.

Have to say I agree. I don't like the idea of how insane the TA grind is for not being able to use the cards the entire year online. Then also having to collect those cards to get another card you can't use all year. Seems like a giant waste of time to me. I will still do it though because I'm insane.
I also couldn't imagine paying money for a card I can't even use all year. I pulled WBC Trout and used him for a few games until I realized that once July rolls around I won't be able to use him. So I sold him because I figured at least when I get Sosa and Jeter done I can use them all year.
Maybe as the year goes on I won't mind it but right now thinking into the future of the game I'm not a fan.
