Adding players to Free Agent Pool?

I very rarely played Franchise in past years, but this year I noticed guys like Roki Sasaki and Munetaka Murakami are in the roster control pool under "Free Agents", stuffed between all the legends they put there(But not actually legends themselves). Is there a way to get them into franchise without enabling legends or putting them on active teams? I don't necessarily want to do a Fantasy Draft Franchise right now, but would like a chance at getting these guys.

i am not sure if this will help, but what i usually do is go to the player vaults and search for certain players, not sure if this helps or not. best of luck.

I would say if they are listed as Legends my theory is add them to a team you would like to do a Franchise with. Once your going to start your franchise press Square on the more options in the franchise tab and use current roster and they would be on your team even do you would have no legends on the Free agent Pool. I might be wrong but give it a try this could work.
