Already seeing an issue with these “Set 1” cards with TTs.

Im trying to be open minded about the different set cards, especially because it won’t really come into effect for a few months, but I’m already seeing issues that will screw up my TT.
The Rockies have very few pitching options every year. Heck, they have very few options in general. It usually takes the whole year of content just to be able to fill one out without using bronzes and silvers.
But whenever Set 3 rolls around, I’ll no longer be able to use 95 Arenado, 97 Blackmon, and 92 Daniel Bard. That’s just from the first day of content.
So far I’m pretty bummed about these Sets. Just trying to give it a chance though. I really wish all Team Captain and Team Affinity cards were Core or we need more than 1 Wildcard. TA is meant for TTs and now we can only use the top card for part of the year.

I'm assuming you mean in H2H modes? Offline they're viable all year.
Plus, they eventually have to come back into play or any content released up until Set 3 releases wont be available/playable for players that start after the AS Game.

They’re only viable in Play vs CPU for my understanding. Nothing else. Not conquest or mini seasons. And yes, I’m talking about H2H.

They don't know about timed Conquest Maps yet.
And I understand the frustration about not being able to use them in H2H modes year round.
If they have another Event, during Set 2, and it allows Charisma cards; I won't be able to use TA 1 Devers. That card would most likely be my end game third baseman as his MA last year was in my lineup all year after it was unlocked.
But I do understand that it's going to force late starters, that only like to play online, to play offline in order to finish certain missions involving those cards.
Heck I picked Capt Oritiz as my pre-order Captain and realized that other than being a Red Sox fan and wanting him he serves no purpose because right now he only boost PS cards and other than a handful in TA there are only two PS cards available.
Guess we'll have to wait and see what happens.
