Multiple card versions not showing up..

Multiple versions of a single players cards do not show up on the Lineup screen when I go to change a player. Only the version that I have already been using. When I get a better card of a player it doesn't show up until I remove the old version from the lineup. How the heck will I know every time that I have a better version once we have hundreds of cards?

You can only use one version of a player. You will have to go back to the collection page and check.

I had the same issue. You have to take one out first and you can’t replace a player with another version of them. I.e. replace bronze Jeter with some random and then diamond Jeter will be there when you want to add him.

This seems too deliberate to be a bug. I wonder if they added this to counter that exploit that someone used a year or two ago to have multiple versions of the same player in their lineup or rotation. At least its only a minor inconvenience.

Yes. And 99% of the time that is fine, but what about if you do not know or do not remember acquiring "diamond Jeter"? What if while playing a game you finish a grind like 40 hits with a completely different player and that earned you "diamond Jeter" and you were not paying attention to every Program missions? You may not know that you even have "diamond Jeter" for a while. I guess every so often I will take out all of my players and put scrubs in just to make sure I didn't acquire a card that I was not expecting.
At the very least SDS could have told us about this. It freaked me out when I couldn't find a card that I knew I picked from a pack. This will happen to others.
