Maybe it's just me, but I think the game is much better when we only have silvers, golds and low diamonds to choose from. Endless 99s just don't do it for me, even if there is a variety of USABLE 99s which there typically isn't. I like the mixing and matching with low cards early on.

I think I'm with you on that. I like the idea of the 99s, and getting the best possible version of some of my favorites, but the game sure plays a lot more like baseball with a BR style mix.

Playing with silver and gold LS to start has always been the best gameplay. That first week before they completely change how the game plays is great.

They seemed to have made changes that nobody asked for. Everyone wanted gameplay changes. We got a new UI and they put the same things in different spots and called it a day. Nothing new. Just things to make it feel new.

Geovanny Soto has a 99 card with 125 power. That's all I need to say. It's stupid, ridiculous and not real.

Everybody gets stats once reserved for Babe Ruth. Even for a good game in May. Make it make sense. That's all I ask.

There is no funner time to play the game than the first couple Months. Even with the almost nightly server maintenance

Its so much more interesting for me up until they release the All Star series. Then things start to get silly - for me anyway.

By the end of the game every player on every team has 125 power, 125 vision & every pitcher has Outlier & high h/9…Early on it’s alot more balanced.

Agree with all of the points. It just gets dumb with every low tier player getting 99 Topps cards because they had a good game. Really pulls you out of the simulation feel and feels like a cheat code. You also diminish the TRUE legend cards. If it were my game only a handful of cards would be 99.

And if they only gave 99s to the players who "deserved it", how many would there really be? Every single team online would be the same. They give 99s to players who "had a good game" so theres variety. People can use their favorite players from their favorite teams as opposed to using only the real legends.

Lets be real, fans of small market teams wouldnt exactly be blessed with too many 99s.
