Catcher Auto Throwing

Is there a setting where you stop the catcher from throwing down to first base on his own all the time after every pitch. Lost a battle royale game after catcher threw it down the right field line on his own. Very stupid

I was doing that about 4 times last night in a Co-op game, lol.
Never knew it happens automatically. That's wild!
