Cease Knuckel Curve changes game to game
-
His Knuckle Curve is a 12-6 in some games, and a East West in other games.
Anyone experience this?
-
Pitches change from game to game anyway, and that happens in real life in any baseball game. Sliders look like cutters, cutters look like change ups, etc.
Is that what you're talking about?
-
Maybe. I thought w/ a pitcher like Cease his Knuckel Curve would always be 12-6.

It's based on pitcher's confidence and the confidence of the individual pitch. The higher, the more accurate/more break.
Also, SDS nerfs spamming secondary pitches to bail out the poor players, if you throw it a couple of times in a row it will hardly break at all. -

One game it's 12-6 and the next game its E-W. It's the only pitcher I've seen this happen to.

Don't confuse stamina with confidence, they are two seperate mechanics.
At the start of the game the pitcher confidence is still at a starting point. Secondary pitches especially. You need to throw them for a few strikes until the confidence rises and the break will increase. Couple of swings and misses will help. With higher confidence the ball should have that east to west break, given that you are not spamming the pitch like I explained before (this will nerf the break, even if confidence is max).
But if you throw it outside of the zone for a ball and the batter doesn't swing, the confidence dips and so does the break. Which will result in more 12-6 movement and hardly any horizontal movement. But hey. This is SDS. Who the F knows, they might very well have messed this up too although it seems unlikely.
