Mets could start the year with 3 90+ cards with Edwin Diaz, Verlander and Scherzer. Lower diamonds will be Lindor and Alonso. I would say them the Dodgers and the Phillies/Braves are good guesses.

Yep, Mets. They’ll have the highest payroll tax if the Correa deal goes through, and will have the most diamonds to collect.

On the other hand, if SDS continues to restrict the release of Trout, it could still be the Angels.

I think Correa will be gold. There’s usually only 20 something diamonds that start out the game so most of these diamonds we have now in the 85-86 range will golds in next years game.

And possibly Correa. Mets are going to be expensive and it might be a really good Piazza or Seaver card for unlocking them.

I see the cheepest teams being the

    Royals
    Pirates
Cubs ( Swanson should start out gold)
    A's
    Tigers
    Rockies
    Reds
    Diamondbacks
Orioles (depending on what happens with Rutschman)

Red Sox (will see with them though)

The 5 most expensive will be

    Yankees (Judge, Cole, possibly Rodon)
Mets (Scherzer, Lindor, Verlander, Diaz, possibly Correa)
    Angels (Ohtani and Trout)
    Padres (Tatis, Bogaerts, Machado)
Phillies ( Harper, Turner, Realmuto, Nola)

Am i missing any temas here? The dodgers could also still be not cheep

Considering he's suspended for half the season; I doubt they release a Tatis card.

Good point, SDS may put him in halfway though the year, then again they may include him as unlikely as that seems.

Pretty sure he is due back early if I am not mistaken.

    Yes, April 20th

Tatis only has 20 more games. He is due April 21st. He will have a card.

While he may be back in April; chances are he isn't even on the 40 man roster until he returns. (I don't think suspended players can be on active rosters.)

Which means that he won't be in the LS Collection until at least a few updates depending on when they release the game.

If he is in the game on release day; he should be in the FA Collection. If not, then thats just wrong.

That's a good point and of course if someone wants to complete the collection prior to his return or at least finish the Padres they won't need him. Still, I'd imagine he'll be in the game after 1 roster update, maybe 2.
