Is this another Event where we won't be able to use Randy?

If you're like me and grinded 250 innings / don't care about making WS, then you are likely done with Ranked for the year.
As a result I haven't used Randy at all in H2H as the current Event doesn't allow Milestone players.
The new Event is being billed as AL Pitchers vs NL Hitters. That feels deliberately designed to prevent us from using the new Randy in the upcoming Event as well. If that's the case, I may have played 250 innings to get a card I will never use in H2H play. Cool.
Really interested to see if they open it up to Milestone players...

Or you could just play a Ranked game?
I feel like they either let you use any card in the Events and people complain or they limit who you can use and people complain.

Agree. Should have had him immediately eligible and let those that friended or earned him early get the jump. With more than 3 weeks gone by before the Next event where he should be eligible, be prepared to face him virtually every game…

It was worth playing 9 inning sweats when the rewards mattered…I played over 2,000 innings of ranked this year. I just can’t sit through it any more when the rewards past 250 innings are effectively worthless.
I just want to play some casual 3 inning games on All Star with Randy and Kershaw (who was the top reward in a mini program and also hasn’t been eligible for Events yet) before I hang up my spikes.
Hopefully they do the right thing and activate Milestone cards tomorrow.

Psychologically and skill-wise, RS is for one set of people, Events and BR for another.
I played a lot of RS last year, but enjoy much more Events and BR now. 3 innings work better for me. I think I might enjoy RS more if there were leagues that put restrictions on lineups and rotations like BR. BR plays the best because human players with flaws -- as opposed to gods in uniforms -- lead to more diverse outcomes. In other words, rng seems lower with mixed teams, or at least you don't feel as cheated because attributes are all over the map.

I think this is why when I played MUT it was way less fun after Zero Chill - every player card is effectively maxed out and the game outcomes feel dictated by dice rolls.

I planned to use him in Events, which appear to the last source of new cards going forward.
My binder is complete other than the Bauer and Vizcaino cards that no longer exist.
