PXP per batter compared to per pitcher is SOOOO screwed up.

I just pitched 1.2 Innings with Rookie Joe Nathan. No Ks, no decision, and I got 118PXP.

In the same game I had 2 ABs, 2 Hits (inc a double) and 3 RBIs and I received 90 PXP.

I don't want them to lower the PXP, per stat, for pitchers bor do I want them to increase the PXP for batters, per stat, but at least think about adding defensive stats like assists, put outs, etc to the mix for batters.

It takes to long to level up a batter.

Just one man’s opinion but for me I think batters should take longer than pitchers to upgrade. If playing online you are using the batters every game, pitchers are only going once every few games.

    Very logical answer!

Most players don’t level up their pitchers online. You can use them for every inning of a conquest map or just grind against CPU games. I leveled Kershaw to P4 in 2 days. It took me 2 weeks to get Reynolds there.

This. And I know this next statement won't be popular; but they should seperate paralleled players by how they were paralleled.

If you P5 someone, against the CPU, then when you play that card online; it shouldn't be leveled up to P5 until you get those points online.

It will all be different next year because pitchers won't get PXP for batting anymore. But, pitchers will still earn more PXP than batters, if they keep the categories and points the same.

Did they confirm that pitchers won't get PXP for batting?

Uhm, no. But with the universal DH, pitchers won't bat. I guess I shouldn't assume The Show will follow the new rules, but they have already implemented it in the Moments...so...

Yeah. I was thinking about the other day. But if I remember correctly from one of the earlier streams, around when they did the pre-order ones, one of them mentioned that DH will never be in DD.

    But who knows.

We’ll have to wait and see, I guess. They could get around it by sticking the pitcher in the DH slot, thus removing the DH altogether, or they could handle it like they do in custom leagues. Only time will tell.

When I did my survey earlier in the year, I suggested they add grand slams and the cycle to hitters for PXP, that would help some.

If you are playing online against someone who parallel their players against the CPU, why should it matter? You should be good enough to deal with a card that is boosted attributes by 5 points, it’s not really that big of a difference. I would be fine with what you are saying, but I don’t think it’s a big deal.

I wouldn’t mind it because it would make cards that I can’t or won’t use because of lack of defense or speed. On the other hand, it would make a bench almost useless, so I don’t know if they will give us the DH or not. Just my thoughts.

Not offline they do not, You can use the same pitcher every game offline. you can get a pitcher to 500 in one offline game or online game. It is easier offline, 9 inn 15-20k shutout win and CG. Very easy.
