What's with all the losers who love to watch cutscenes?
Haven't played online in a while. 2 ranked games. First one tried to bunt every other batter and let all cutscenes play.
Second guy was okay and watched all cutscenes play so I quit.
What a pathetic waste of time...

Not sure what you mean by cut scene, are you talking about replays? If so I wish SDS would eliminate them from online play. You want to watch yourself hit homers wait to the end of games and select highlight reel. I had a guy once who hit a mile high popup that literally hit the top of the wall and bounced into the seats.
He immediately hit the replay like he mashed it 500 feet. Replay stats 335 feet 96 MPH. Some guys just can't help but showboat.

God yes!!! I can't stand those. Even for my guys. I get it. it's Babe Ruth. He's a mega star. Can we now get to the part where I actually get to play now? is what is rolling through my head every time.
Regarding the staring part before the pitch. I apologize in advance. I don't know if we have played, but I sort of do that. Not to be a [censored], but to avoid being a [censored]. I seem to draw a lot of quick pitches, so I am trying to NOT do that. I had a couple guys in a row that hit time out a lot, so I am trying not to quick pitch.

Of course not. I won the first one and quit the second down 2-0 in the third. If I lose, it's because I suck.
That doesn't invalidate the point. If you let all the cutscenes play and stand on the mound in a staring contest, you're a goof with WAY too much time on your hands or WAY too little else to do in your life.
These were the first 2 ranked games I've played in months. Maybe I just rolled two losers, but it seems there are more and more around nowadays (judging by events, too)...

Wasn’t trying to invalidate the post, people like that are one of the reasons I retired from online play. Was just trying to say the whole reason they do it is to frustrate and annoy their opponents into either quitting or making mistakes that cost them the game. The fact that you didn’t lose just makes them look even more like tools though

Also, I find that folks love watching The Kid and Mookie’s pre at-bat animations in particular. I get it… they are both cool for sure …but let’s get it going! It’s the same every time!

Who they hell said anything about REPLAYS? I'm talking about CUT SCENES that cue in the flow of the game.
You want to watch a home run again or a Mario slide play on defense, go for it. You earned it. You let the end of inning scene play out or the batter walk up play out, you're a loser.

I haven't played in years and only have 20 and 21, but to me it's nothing more than showboating, and if you have a big lead rubbing the other player's nose in it. And yes I want them gone. You can flex on your towering home run or diving grab in the highlight real AFTER the game is over without annoying the other player.
