Not Enough Rookie Cards
-
This is ridiculous. It's impossible for me to complete the Rookie card collection to get the Rollins card. I have 52 cards and there are 6 more available to purchase. But the remaining cards I don't have to get to 60 aren't available to buy from anyone. Why are so many of these cards unavailable for purchase?
It means the only other path to getting the Rollins card is to accrue enough stubs to pay the absurd prices for the remaining Takashi cards and the (slightly lesser) but still inflated prices for the remaining Prime cards I would need.
Is anyone else facing this issue? I assume so, otherwise I don't know why the Akashi cards have essentially doubled in value since the Rollins card came out.

The rookie cards that you are missing are most likely from BR. the sets from the beginning of the year are very hard to get, most get them when they release and hold them to the collections come out.that is also why the other series cards are real expensive.

Put in a buy order and wait it out.

Or play BR and select those cards when you get the first set of Bronze Rewind packs. You get two packs and can select one new one (current program) and 3 old ones (older programs for each Bronze pack.
You'll get two new ones and 6 old ones.

Ah, they're doing rewind bonuses. Cool. I got in when buy orders were still low, so I'm done w/rookies, but this is good to know.

I needed 2 for Rollins and I put in buy orders and played BR and got them both about the same time. Only need 25 points I think to get the bronze and silver.

This is always what happens when a collection drops so you gotta prep by getting the cards that you know this will happen with. There is a new BR program coming next week which should help put a bunch of them in the market.
At this point tho it might just be worth it to see if selling your rookie cards will get enough to finish off the other collections.

BR is super easy right now. Give it a try.

Thanks to all for the advice about BR. Quick question, though: I used to be able to see the points/reward screen in BR, but now it seems that I can't. All I get is the pick a roster screen. How do I see the points/reward screen like I can see in the Event program? (I'm on a PS5).
