How to play speed cheese

Just played a guy who had a speed team that only bunted. Put on bunt defense every time but it didn’t matter. He would pull the bunt back if it wasn’t a pitch in the zone. What’s the strategy here?

Back in like MLB 15 there was no outer pci and foul tips to bail people out and bunt defense was broken, so you would see a ton of this back in the day.

Throw strikes and let him bunt

Bunt defense + 2b halfway. Having decent speed at 1b 2b 3b helps

Pitches up in the zone? If they don't have pop it'll be fly outs or bunts popped up

I played a guy yesterday with a ws banner who had an all bunt cheese lineup. So there are dudes who definitely have the bunt game mastered. Luckily, he hand a 3rd strike foul bunt and a caught stealing to help me get out of the first, and I hit a hr off Randy in the second inning and he quit.

I just put defense halfway for everyone. I can’t remember ever giving up a bunt hit with this defense on
