Keep at it, i eventually got it on the 20th attempt. I finally stopped trying to hit to the right and aimed for left center. Finally hit a home run and 2 singles. Surprisingly frustrating moment.

Yeah, sometimes you can run through them. Sometime you need extra attempts.
