Agreed, just lost a MTO game because my CF decided on back to back plays on lazy flies not to lock onto the ball, gave up a 3 run lead and decided I'm sick of the headache I have when I play this mess of a game. Why have a beta and a solid first week and then just immediately start to pull your game apart? Had similar fielding issues playing yesterday, it's bad enough hitting is almost completely RNG, Pitching is beyond RNG, and now I get to play RNG with will my fielder even bother to field a ball? Stupid

Their pushing the whole simulation baseball too much. Let the players be in control not the game itself.
Imagine playing a shooter game and the game controls where your bullets go regardless of where your aiming. Or a racing game and the game makes you blow a tire 50 yards from the finish line.
Would that bs be accepted by those players because “it happens in real life”? I would think not.

We all know why....
PLAYER RETENTION & $$$$
In a past stream they’ve admitted that most of their player base is not very good, based on their “SDS stats.” They understand that they need to keep these players having fun while playing so that they do not quit the game and play a different game.
In summary, they need to keep these bad players “competitive” w/ RNG to keep them playing and spending stub $$$$. The money adds up to keep the Little Billy’s playing & happy.
The minority of us players that are decent at the game are put in the back burner.
