Always intense program is a scam

OK, moment of confession: after complaining about it and saying I wasn’t gonna do it, I bought a few cards to get the PXP started and I finished it today after going through the showdown I said I’d never do. And it really wasn’t that bad at all. You don’t have to spend a lot of stubs to buy into the cards if you have to. But I have to confess it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. It was actually kind of fun.

The part that gets me is having to do the showdown. I'm terrible ... TERRIBLE at showdowns, so I'm not going to even try this program.
Oh well.Hey, I’m with you about showdowns. But honest. I got through it today. I only had to repeat it once. The secret for me was not to swing so early. Keep the bat back long enough for the curveballs.

I am never good at showdowns ever and I did it the first time I am very happy

Congratulations to you and me both!

The showdowns are now completely easy mode due to all the complaining on these forums. They used to be a challenge, now it's just one attempt and done.
For really good players sure... for us who cant hit not so much

Just don't assume everything is a fastball. That's what got me through those.

0 cards to start, have to do all moments and the showdown to get one; if you don’t want to grind for eternity you have to pick a pitcher, than get a 2nd card and the rest of the rewards are blah.
Which is why I didn’t bother with it, but I won’t complain that other people are getting free stuff. But yeah, the program should have come later. The big dog one was much easier to complete with the card access we had to it

I've moved on; after 4 years of nothing but DD, I've had enough. I'm back playing franchise for the first time since '17, and when I get enough of the FB and legends with XP from playing to do the stat grind, I'll play the Conquest maps days before the end of the program, in case I get the itch again. I'll probably end up playing Online Rated before I go back to DD though. How many times can you get excited for a 99 Frank Thomas that you get in 2-3 different, rotating fashion year in/out?

The real scam in my opinion is SDS charging money for this garbage.
